Booking Through Thursday: Resolutions

Any New Year’s reading resolutions?

I have two:

1. Read more books than last year. I didn’t hit three figures last year, which by my standards is pretty pathetic.

2. Complete each and every reading challenge I sign up for.

Since my non-reading resolutions list includes “stop procrastinating” I might actually have a chance of success.

  1. I noticed how a lot of book bloggers have the same resolutions :P Mine also includes complete each reading challenge I signed up for (which is currently five, and hopefully I won't add anymore this year :P). Here's my BTT post for this week.

  2. Those are good resolutions. I know I'll never complete all my challenges, but it's fun to try. The only non-reading resolution I made this year is "get more sleep" - which I suppose could interfere with the reading goals a bit! Happy New Year and happy reading in 2011!

  3. Majanka: I'm on five too, but since I didn't intend to sign up for even that many at once I don't think I'll be able to resist adding to them!

jlshall: But I guess being better rested will improve the reading experience. It's hard to concentrate on a book when you're tired.

  6. Good resolutions! I fell down last year in reading. However, one of my new items I want to do is join a challenge.
