Teaser Tuesdays

Teaser Tuesdays TEASER TUESDAYS asks you to:

  • Grab your current read.
  • Let the book fall open to a random page.
  • Share with us two (2) “teaser” sentences from that page, somewhere between lines 7 and 12.
  • You also need to share the title of the book that you’re getting your “teaser” from - that way people can have some great book recommendations if they like the teaser you’ve given!

I remember that Eva used to tell us that our Irish blood is what made us all good “readers,” that all Irish people have the gift of blind sight, or at least all Irishwomen do. But I don’t have any Irish in me.

From The Lace Reader by Brunonia Barry, p. 79.

  7. I had wanted to read this book with my book club... it seemed reminiscent of The Probable Future by Alice Hoffman, but it didn't get picked, so I bought it and it's on my TBR shelf. Hope it's good.

  9. Hm, do they mean readers as in book-readers or reading people? I'm curious! Plus, my name means "blind one" (though I'm far from Irish!) so I found this teaser especially interesting!
