Teaser Tuesdays

Teaser Tuesdays TEASER TUESDAYS asks you to:

  • Grab your current read.
  • Let the book fall open to a random page.
  • Share with us two (2) “teaser” sentences from that page, somewhere between lines 7 and 12.
  • You also need to share the title of the book that you’re getting your “teaser” from - that way people can have some great book recommendations if they like the teaser you’ve given!

Heart fluttering like a trapped sparrow within her ribcage, she reached out carefully, closed her fingers around the lever, and -

'I wouldn't do that if I were you.'

From The Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton, p. 219.

  12. I'm looking forward to reading the author's first book one of these days--and then hopefully this one. I like the teaser. Like everyone else has said, I want to know what will happen if she pulls the lever. :-)

  14. Having now read this page I can tell you all she did NOT pull the lever - and good thing, too, or she'd have tumbled out of a fast-moving carriage!
